Pretty ingenious.

Ladies and gentlemen, your first look at Alien 5.

If only. But still cool to look at.

I usually have nothing but love for Corter Leather, but seriously? “Utility” is used very loosely here.

Look at what Uncrate put together for all our zombie apocalypse induced paranoia. Appropriately named the “bug out bag”.

I like this design, it’s straight forward and simple while still being aesthetically pleasing . A good balance of form and function.

Miyazaki On Miyazaki: The Animation Genius On His Movies

Very interesting to get some insight on the movies that shaped my love of animation from the man himself.

I’d say 90% of existing goodwill vinly could be re-purposed for these and i’d be ok.

Ass-nine

Just witnessed how our local police force patrols our bike/walk path…. with a four wheeler. While from an “in case of emergency” standpoint this probably makes sense, from all other practical applications it is asinine.

Our path is in its infancy and the portion he was patrolling is a total of 12m round trip. The vehicle of choice he was perched a top is as wide as the path. This means in said emergency if he needed to scale the whole six miles one way, he would either; a. Mow down pedestrians b. Have to stop and wait for said pedestrians to move c. Go off road. This last option seems viable if you are unfamiliar with the territory. Off to one side and he would need a boat as the whole path follows either the river or the creek, to the other is a levee which if you’re going to bother to scale, your brothers in cruisers would be better suited to handle it once it went to the road.

Now, I am all for the police patrols, as the area has become a hangout for misfit kids and homeless gypsies. But all this aside, i think they missed the whole point! Get on a bike and off your oversized ATV/ass!
